Laura and Chris had the most magical ceremony at the heart of Adelaide city, in a sky-lit, white-walled warehouse that later came alive with soft pink centerpieces and lush palm features layered throughout. This minimalist chic wedding was inspired by Palm Springs (honeymoon location) and the epitome of DIY: Laura both designed and handmade her gown, sewing on more than 400 individual beads by hand! Chris built their main ceremony wall plus the reception tables for guests, you know, just some casual carpentry work while planning a wedding/moving countries. Laura’s mum- Naomi, made the cake, and the bridal party along with family helped set up the venue. I was blown away when I heard how much these two were personally involved with bringing their vision to life.
These two are so clearly loved by so many, it was an honour to document such a special day filled with passion, dancing (at all times), & champagne showers. You know you ended on a high note when the police shut you down. A few days after getting hitched, these two crazy kids jet off to Palm Springs for their honeymoon and then straight on to New York City where they now live their best lives.
WOW! I just love this wedding! Beautiful work Alexis.
