You know when meet someone and just feel instantly at ease due to their relaxed and fun nature? Multiply that by 2 and you have Elyse and Wade.
These guys are such a joy to be around, and even though it’s my job to get them laughing for the camera, they had me in stitches the entire engagement sesh. I knew right away this wedding was going to be such a good time for everyone involved.
Elyse has a very creative eye, her vision for the day was full of modern shapes and textures- all busting with colour.
This gorgeous setup sprang to life within the perfect venue that is Kingsford Homestead in the Barossa. When asked what made them ultimately land on Kingsford, Elyse said that they “instantly fell in love -the vibe, it felt familiar and like ‘home’.”
Their day was a perfect mix of romance and laughter, from tear-jerking vows to diy jump-rope on the dancefloor.
Elyse and Wade’s advice to other couples who are soon to be tying the knot:
“Roll with the punches, nothing in life is perfect and usually neither is the big day. There will be things that go wrong but don’t sweat the small stuff. Really enjoy it and allow yourself to feel all of the emotions! If we could change one thing it would be to not worry so much about family photos. It can be a long process! We wish we’d had more time with just us and the photographer as bride and groom!”
Venue: Kingsford Homestead (As a South Australian wedding photographer, I cannot recommend this venue enough! It’s natural, rustic beauty are an obvious draw, but the people behind it make the experience even more lovely. Cassie and Kyran are so accommodating and you can tell they’re truly invested in providing a memorable experience for the bride and groom.)
